Breast Cancer Journey Assistance Fund
Established in 2023, the Breast Cancer Journey Assistance Fund provides financial support to breast cancer patients struggling to pay for non-surgery breast cancer-related expenses.
Purpose
We started this fund to provide financial relief to patients during their breast cancer journey. Every patient has diverse needs, and the goal of this program is to provide assistance where they feel they need it the most.
While the Mollenkopf Aesthetic Breast Reconstruction Fund offers patient assistance grants for breast reconstruction surgery, the Breast Cancer Journey Assistance Fund provides breast cancer patients with financial support for non-surgery medical expenses.
The funds may be used for any breast cancer care like deductibles, co-pays, medications, medical equipment, respite care, support for loved ones and caregivers, wigs, transportation to appointments and more.

Living in the US or Canada
Diagnosed with Breast Cancer
Who Can Apply
Board-certified plastic surgeons, other physicians, nurse navigators, or social workers in the US and Canada can apply for funds on their eligible patient’s behalf.
Application Requirements
Complete the Application Form
Please be prepared to provide the following:
Your information (Full name with credentials, phone number, email, mailing address)
Patient information (Full name, mailing address, email address, DOB, gender, race, date of breast cancer diagnosis, phase of breast cancer journey)
Patient participation agreement and medical release (Patients may be asked to provide the Foundation with their breast cancer journey story for possible future use in printed and electronic communication.)
Award Process
After our Breast Cancer Journey Assistance Fund Task Force reviews your submission, we will inform you via email whether or not your case will be funded. If approved, funds per patient will only be provided once every 12 months based on the last payment date.
Timing
You can apply at any time. We provide approvals on a rolling basis.
